Machinery Transport Australia-Wide

Door-to-door heavy haulage with flat tops, drop decks and floats

  • Australia-wide
  • Flat tops, drop decks and floats
  • COR certified and experienced

Domestic Transport by machinery specialists

Whether a machine is going to the port for export, coming off a ship, or moving between sites, we arrange road transport across Australia using certified, experienced heavy haulage operators.

We match the trailer to the machine, handle oversize permits and route planning, and make sure the machine is loaded and restrained correctly. It is the same team that manages your international freight, so the hand-over at the port is seamless.

How domestic transport works

  1. 1

    Machine details and locations

Tell us the machine, its transport dimensions and weight, and the pickup and delivery addresses.

  2. 2

    Trailer and route

We match the trailer to the load and plan the route, including any oversize permits or pilot vehicles needed.

  3. 3

    Loading and restraint

The operator loads and restrains the machine to the required standard.

  4. 4

    Delivery

Door-to-door delivery to site, depot or port, coordinated with your shipping cut-offs where it is an export.

Trailers we use

  • Flat tops: for machines within standard legal height
  • Drop decks: a lower deck for taller machines
  • Floats (low loaders): for heavy tracked machinery and tall loads

Good to know

Oversize loads

Loads over legal width, height or mass need permits, and sometimes pilot vehicles and set travel times. We arrange these as part of the job.

Port connections

For imports and exports we time pickup and delivery around vessel cut-offs and release, so the machine isn’t waiting at the wharf.

Accurate dimensions

The right trailer depends on the machine’s travel height, width and weight, including attachments. Accurate figures avoid surprises on the day.

Domestic Transport FAQs

Do you transport machinery interstate?

Yes. We arrange machinery transport Australia-wide using certified heavy haulage operators.

What is the difference between a drop deck and a float?

A drop deck has a lowered rear deck that gives extra height for taller machines. A float, or low loader, sits lower again and is built for heavy tracked machinery and tall loads.

Do you organise oversize permits?

Yes. Permits, route planning and any pilot vehicles required for oversize loads are handled as part of the job.

Can you deliver machinery to the port for export?

Yes. We schedule transport around the vessel’s cargo cut-off and coordinate it with the international booking.
